46-57 A.D. —Paul’s three missionary journeys recorded in Acts

 

49-51 A.D. —the Jerusalem church council of Acts 15 on the means of salvation, Paul 

wrote First and Second Thessalonians

 

54-68 A.D. —Nero’s reign as Emperor of Rome

 

60-67 A.D. —the Synoptic Gospels written by Matthew, Mark, Luke

 

60-62 A.D.—Paul wrote the Prison Epistles from Rome (Ephesians, Philippians, 

Colossians, Philemon)

64-66 A. D.—1 and 2 Peter were written, Hebrews was written, Roman Emperor 

Nero begins intense persecution of the Church

 

67 A.D. —Peter and Paul martyred in Rome
