Dear Fellow Students of the Bible,
Let me ask you a few questions:
- What does the terrain of the land God gave Abraham and his descendants look like?
- What does the Jordan River where John the Baptist baptized Jesus look like?
- Can you visualize the Israelite army on one hill and the Philistines on another as they looked down on David and Goliath in the Valley of Elah?
- What did the wilderness of En Gedi look like where David hid from Saul?
- Why is the Dead Sea really “dead”?
- Where did they find the Dead Sea Scrolls and what do they look like?
- Can you imagine what the battlefield of Armageddon looks like?
- What about the fortress of Masada where 1000 Israelites were martyred?
- What is special about the Mt. of Olives where Jesus ascended to heaven and will one day return?
- Can you imagine walking on the Via Dolorosa where Jesus was forced to carry His cross?
- How about an awesome model city of Jerusalem with all the historic sites right before you?
- What would it be like to pray at the Wailing Wall?
Good news! In June of 2010 you can actually experience the answers to all these questions and more. We could do Bible studies until the end of time and never be able in print to actually explain these awesome biblical sites the way we will in person. Now you will be able to see it, hear it, and experience it fully. Make the Scriptures come to life by seeing what you have been reading and hearing about all your life.
On this trip we will have an excellent professional Israeli guide, and (I hope) your favorite teacher (me). The good
news is that the details and administration are not in my hands, but will be completed by Morning Star Tours, professionals with years of experience. They will book the best guides, the best hotels, and your favorite sites. They will carefully plan the trip to maximize our time in Israel.
My goal is that you will bring home a new understanding of all the Bible stories. I also hope each of us has our faith
strengthened and our life changed by this trip. Your presence will bless us and change you forever. Is there anyplace else in the world where history and the future come together like Israel?
Let’s Go!
In Christ,
Charlie Taylor
